Director

Nick studied directing at UNE Armidale in 2006.

In 2008 he directed for New Theatre's inaugural season of Brand Spanking New.
Interrupting Grace by Augusta Supple, with Bel Delia and Stephen Peacocke.

Later that year he directed a moved reading of David Mamet's Speed the Plow for New Theatre's Education Program

In 2009 he directed once more for Brand Spanking New. This time Lone Bird by award winning playwright Verity Laughton (The Nargun and the Stars, The Ice Season, The Sweetest Thing) with Fiona Press, Tim Allen, and Bruno Xavier.

In 2010 he directed Atomograd by the award winning Caleb Lewis (Nailed, Men, Love and the Monkeyboy, Dogfall, Ghost Shark) with Kate Skinner and Melissa Matheson

In 2011 he directed the Australian premiere of Canary by Jonathan Harvey (Beautiful Thing, Beautiful People, Gimme Gimme Gimme, Coronation Street) for the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Festival at the New Theatre.

Voice & Dialect Coach

Nick graduated from NIDA in 2007 with a Graduate Diploma in Dramatic Arts (Voice Studies).

He offers private one-on-one or group coaching, specialising in accent and dialect for performers. He is also available for foreign accent reduction, coaching in vocal technique - from breathing to phonetics and articulation - and approaches to text - from Shakespeare to Mamet.

Private clients have included Garry McDonald, Steve Rodgers, Tina Bursill, Valentino del Toro, Henri Szeps, Stephen Peacocke, Bel Delia, Caroline Craig and Merrick Watts.

He has coached on productions including:
